I'm not sure if its already been suggest but it would be useful to have a decoder selection option in the Preferences.
This could provide a list of available codecs/decoders detected on the system, allowing the user to explicitly select which decoder OpenRV should use for playback.
It would be particularly useful for troubleshooting playback and performance especially on Linux and Nvidia GPUs.
