NCSF123 - Choppy playback

other ncsf decoders will play this snare roll smoothly whereas NCSF123 will pause/clip at each kick

Sorry for the late reply on this. I did make an attempt to try to hear the difference, but I personally cannot hear it, and it doesn't show up in the waveform when I check in Audacity.

Is there a way you can compare this to a non-NCSF reference? The old NCSF code is known to have some problems, so there is always a possibility that it is wrong while the new one is right, but there is also a possibility of the new one being wrong too. If you could either get me a sample from actual hardware or even something emulated (either from a DS emulator or using 2SF, for instance), that would probably be a better reference to go by than the old fb2k component.

grabbing audio from an emulator is the best I can do, so here's the same snippet from melonDS:
