[BUG] can't install from pipx - chroma-hnswlib failed to build

Can't install Vectorcode from pipx
pipx log

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. pipx install vectorcode

Expected behavior
vectorcode should be installed

System Information:

For Mac users, please also mention whether you're using intel or apple silicon devices.

-OS: Fedora 42
-GPU: RX7700XT

Hi, chroma-hnswlib is a library with the core components written in rust and cpp for efficiency, and the error you're experiencing is likely due to missing clang/rust compilers. I don't remember the exact name of the required build dependencies, but if you put the entire error message here I'd be able to help you further.

sorry I missed the error log. In this case, please make sure you have a fairly recent c++ (probably clang?) and rust compiler installed on your system

Solved, as i imagined the dev libs of python where missing... i thought the pipx would handle everything... Thanks anyway!

I've been looking at uvenv, which looks like a sensible alternative to pipx. Will investigate whether it handles these better than pipx. If it does, I'll update the documentation and suggest people to use uvenv.
