Changes introduced in [signify 0.8.0](https://github.com/ralphje/signify/blob/master/docs/changelog.rst#v080-2025-08-15) break the [current certificate parsing logic](https://github.com/FutureComputing4AI/EMBER2024/blob/main/src/thrember/features.py#L958). signify should be pinned to [0.7.1](https://github.com/FutureComputing4AI/EMBER2024/blob/main/pyproject.toml#L17) until the code is updated.
