Authenticating to couchbase cluster

I have a couchbase server with username and password; can't seem to figure out how to authenticate with my credentials. I've read the documentation but haven't found a reference to authentication.

I don't know if there's no feature to do this or if it's just not documented, can u guys help me? Thanks!
