Scope and nonclaims

Authorized release scope

The exact R1 archive is released only as:

PROJECT SHADOW 1.0 / R1 REFERENCE / BETA-ACTIVE-TESTING / PRELIVE

The exact v0.3.4 sidecar is released separately as an optional, default-off, external research companion. It is not canonical R1, not an admitted R1 descendant, and not R1-conforming.

Not authorized or claimed

This public release does not authorize or claim:

  • production use;
  • operational deployment;
  • efficacy;
  • safety;
  • certification;
  • legal compliance;
  • third-party rights or trademark clearance;
  • affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship, or official status; or
  • expansion beyond the exact artifacts and stated scope.

Publishing release-status and download information on the six authorized websites is a communications update. It is not production or operational deployment of Project Shadow.

Integrity is not fitness

Hashes, manifests, deterministic checks, archive scans, signature evidence, and verifier passes establish only the specific integrity and structural facts they test. They do not establish real-world performance, safety, efficacy, fitness for a purpose, certification, or legal compliance.
