Hey everyone!

Issue #31 is out, and it came out of a dedicated weekend spent tearing the lab down to the studs and rebuilding on Windows Server 2025. Hyper-V on the bottom, a stack of Debian guests on top, and a DC, CA, and file server (all 2025) alongside them. Then I went to install Windows Admin Center the documented, supported way, and lost most of an afternoon to it. That is the thread running through this whole issue: "supported" is a claim a vendor makes, not a promise the software keeps.

What is in this one:

• From the Console: Homelabs are where you meet the newest version of the thing, and its rough edges, before a change window makes the introduction for you. Staying current is not a nice-to-have in this job; it is the job.
• The Take: The supported path is meant to be the tested, blessed route you trust when you do not have time to reverse-engineer the product. But supported is a claim, not a guarantee. Test the boring happy path in the lab, not just the weird edge cases you already distrust.
