List of features/refactoring for the 3.0.0:

• Most of API that returns a List should return a Set instead. -> Rejected as Set does not have a get API
• Dynamic endoints:

The connect or startStream of the base streamer should adapt to the required protocol. If URL starts with rtmp://, the base streamer streams to a RTMP server, if URL starts with srt:// the base streamer should stream to a SRT server.

Same for file streamer, use the extension of the file name.

• Make internal write and startStream suspendable

• Multioutput streamer (for record + live for example)

• Add a way to change the video input (from camera to a file or something like this) and audio input

Tests:

• Add instrumented test for RTMP on a RTMP provider

Postpone:

• Memory improvement for muxer + sink
• New RTMP provider
• Add more audio sources: generated signal
• Add more video source: uvc camera, playback videos, generated (for test)
• OutputView
• Audio effects: volume
• Audio vumeter API
• Video effect
• Camera settings flow. Settings should be suspendable methods.
