Good question, I'm not sure but I think birdnet-live is running BirdNET v3, so that would be a question for @kahst |

I actually tried to train a custom model with support for Black-winged Bishop and Blue-capped Cordonbleu in Birdnet-Analyzer. I wanted to use it instead (or in addition to, as I used append at the training) of the standard birdnet 2.4 model included with Birdnet-Go and record audio from these two species automatically to upload to the African Bird Sound Initiative on ebird. But the custom model wouldn't load in Birdnet-Go... |

I have a flock of Southern Red Bishops and a couple of Black-winged Bishops around my house. Both are not well represented in the Macaulay library, and I would like to contribute.
I have installed birdnet-go on my linux computer, but it doesn't recognize those two species, although they theoretically should be supported. Neither does birdnet-mobile nor birdnet-live btw...
Why is that, is there anything I can do to improve this, or do I have to manually record/edit/upload them to improve the situation? Manually recording is somewhat bothersome, as Black-winged Bishops often ha/ves long pauses between short calls...
