finding annotations and memos

The relation between annotation and memo is not very clear. How are they related, what are their analytical functions? And, it is now difficult to find your annotations/ memos in your project. Could there be a find options for annotations and memos? Find codes / documents with an annotation / a memo.

HI. Annotations were intended to be separate from coding memos. Mainly (as I thought), to be used to clarify concepts in the text. Such as expanding acronyms. So the tooltip would highlight the annotation to give more detail on it.
Yes further ways to extract these can be added.

As a side request. How are you finding the newer QualCoder version compared to the big commercial alternatives?

In my opinion, QualCoder is now ready for the competition. I will start to promote it at my university, and I will do some teaching packages in Finnish. Some functions are still missing (linking journal with sitation ect), but QC is good enough for basic steps in qualitative analysis. I am happy to see the active developing process, and I am sure QC will be better step by step, becoming a leading software in CAQDA scene.
