Hi there,
I hope you are doing well!
I recently launched an engineering and mathematical library in Rust under the name SciRust, focusing on modern Rust (Edition 2024), parallel quadrature, nonlinear root-finding, and chemical thermodynamics (as a starting point). During my deployment, I noticed that you are also hosting a repository under this exact name.
First of all, great minds think alike! It is fantastic to see more developers pushing for scientific and STEM computing within the Rust ecosystem.
Since GitHub allows identical repository names under different namespaces, there is no technical conflict. However, to avoid community confusion and to look for potential synergies, I wanted to reach out. I would love to hear about your goals for your project, or if you are open to an engineering exchange or future collaboration on scientific computing in Rust.
If you are interested, we can also move this conversation to a more convenient channel. You can find my recently launched project on my profile.
Looking forward to hearing from you and wishing you a great weekend!
Best regards,
SamsonandDelilah/SciRust
