Code of Conduct

This applies to everyone in FlakeForge spaces: issues, pull requests, discussions, our Telegram group and any event we run. Maintainers are held to it the same as everyone else.

What we expect

Assume the person on the other side is trying to help. Say what you mean plainly, and keep criticism on the work: "this query runs on every render" is useful, "this is sloppy" is not.

English, Uzbek and Russian are all fine here. Nobody is judged on their grammar, and correcting someone's language instead of answering them is not a contribution.

If you are asked to stop something, stop. Disagreement about code is normal and welcome; disagreement about whether someone deserves respect is not.

What is not acceptable

  • Harassment, insults or personal attacks, including in direct messages that start here
  • Sexual language or unwanted attention
  • Discrimination or slurs based on ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or age
  • Posting someone's private information without their permission
  • Sustained derailing, spam or self promotion
  • Encouraging any of the above

Reporting

Write to contact@flakeforge.com. Tell us what happened, where, and include links or screenshots if you have them.

Reports stay between you and the maintainers. We will tell you what we decided. If a report concerns a maintainer, that person is left out of the decision.

You can report something that happened to someone else.

What happens next

Depending on what we find, the response ranges from a private word, to editing or removing the content, to a temporary or permanent ban from FlakeForge spaces. We explain the reason to the person concerned.

Attribution
