The goal is to log things that happen somewhere:
- User actions like doing a deployment, starting a deployment, starting or stopping a service, running a command on the system or deployment, login attempts, sessions etc
- System actions: things triggered automatically by the system.
The stream is important for auditing and can also be used for power features like analyzing an action (input, output)... for example a user looking at the event/avtivity log can promt the AI assistant to explain why starting a deployment failed.
