From c674e1f9f413820a403cf11e6606b70b28a78f40 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: hatayama Date: Sun, 9 Aug 2026 09:38:03 +0900 Subject: [PATCH] ci: stop release-please from running on main The v2 series is no longer released, so the automatic release PR for 2.3.0 is pure noise. Closing it does not stick: release-please recreates it on the next push to main (#2095 was closed and came back as #2099). Removing only the branch entry would leave an empty `branches:`, which matches every branch, so the whole push trigger is removed instead. Manual runs via workflow_dispatch (branch=main) still work if a v2 release becomes necessary again. --- .github/workflows/release-please.yml | 10 ++++++---- 1 file changed, 6 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) diff --git a/.github/workflows/release-please.yml b/.github/workflows/release-please.yml index 4bc1dc9a2b..83c8ca9c90 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/release-please.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/release-please.yml @@ -1,10 +1,12 @@ name: release-please on: - push: - branches: - - main - # Enable manual execution via "Run workflow" button in browser + # No push trigger on purpose.
