about a week after the latest steam updates on hdd the shortcuts in gamescope overlay included no longer work, in desktop mode no problem.

Are you sure it's steam or gamescope? Which controller are you using and which shortcuts broke? The side menu or the steam menu as well?

I've having the same issue. Hhd is definitely running, but the UI won't appear in game mode, I can hold the ally button to force mouse mode and steam shows a Xbox controller connected just can't get the UI to appear. Desktop mode it shows up. Running on a rog ally and cachyos

I will have a look this weekend, thanks guys. Updating gamescope is always a painful endeavor, and now with the VR stuff moreso

Also seeing this behavior in gamescope as well.
If there's any logs that will help let me know.
