From 079b10745c7e6c41f3e48c9b014db50a120eaffd Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Tyler Reddy Date: Wed, 28 Oct 2026 09:25:00 -0600 Subject: [PATCH] MAINT, CI: support/test CPython 3.15 * Fixes gh-122. CPython `3.15` has been out for a few weeks now--see: https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-3150/ * I checked our latest `main` branch against Python `3.15.2` locally on x86_64 Linux, and the tests passed apart from the known failures of gh-145 and gh-117. So, here I'm proposing to activate CI testing for the latest stable release of Python. * It might make sense to have gh-144 merge first, because we may not be able to see the `3.15` jobs running here to assess them otherwise. * I've also updated our trove classifier to reflect `3.15` support in the next stable release we do. --- .github/workflows/ci.yml | 2 +- .github/workflows/wheel.yml | 2 +- pyproject.toml | 1 + 3 files changed, 3 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/.github/workflows/ci.yml b/.github/workflows/ci.yml index f15d456..72596fa 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/ci.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/ci.yml @@ -15,7 +15,7 @@ jobs: strategy: matrix: os: [ubuntu-latest, macos-latest, windows-latest] - python-version: ["3.12", "3.13", "3.14"] + python-version: ["3.12", "3.13", "3.14", "3.15"] steps: - uses: actions/checkout@3d3c42e5aac5ba805825da76410c181273ba90b1 # v7.0.1 diff --git a/.github/workflows/wheel.yml b/.github/workflows/wheel.yml index b218907..aa43419 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/wheel.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/wheel.yml @@ -15,7 +15,7 @@ jobs: strategy: matrix: os: [ubuntu-latest, macos-latest, windows-latest] - python-version: ["3.12", "3.13", "3.14"] + python-version: ["3.12", "3.13", "3.14", "3.15"] steps: - uses: actions/checkout@3d3c42e5aac5ba805825da76410c181273ba90b1 # v7.0.1 diff --git a/pyproject.toml b/pyproject.toml index 49be48a..d4edba1 100644 --- a/pyproject.toml +++ b/pyproject.toml @@ -17,6 +17,7 @@ classifiers = [ "Programming Language :: Python :: 3.12", "Programming Language :: Python :: 3.13", "Programming Language :: Python :: 3.14", + "Programming Language :: Python :: 3.15", "Topic :: Software Development :: Libraries", "Topic :: Scientific/Engineering", "Operating System :: Microsoft :: Windows",
