Can't set as default

On a Samsung android smart TV, Im trying to set the launcher as the default one. I enter the app settings and choose it as default, and it looks like it actually accept the selection. However it actually doesn't. Exiting the settings and entering again shows the message the ltvlauncher is not ther default launcher, and it really isn't

changing default launcher by that option only works in certain tv, check the accessibility or adb method mentioned in readme
