Windows lockscreen temporarily clears credentials

Expected behavior

after lockscreen is exited entering pin on device credentials should be there and available

Actual behavior

after lockscreen and pin entry login show "No Credentials"
this truely looks like some type of windows change that caused an issue with the device over USB

Step by step guide to reproduce the problem

device is on USB on windows initiate Lockscreen with Wkey+L enter pin code in device select login get "No Credentials" power reset on device while on USB and follow above procedure and same thing happens

work around
disconnect device and power on reset, enter pin code. login shows credentials. Connect to usb on computer and use as normal

that's quite baffling.... just to confirm, the device is showing "no credentials"? are you sure the service is the right one for this feature?

the first image was taken after I entered the pin while connected to the USB it states "No Stored Credentials". the second image is after I disconnected the device from the usb and then entered the pin as you can see the credentials are back. this behavior started happening after the latest windows update. I actually love this device and I am hoping to purchase an updated version. I did update the text of the message. But I figured out how to add the image here. I am new to this. Doing this did show me that it might not be dependent on the lockscreen I think it is more like that if it is connected to the USB when you enter your pin it comes up with the "No Stored Credentials", If it is disconnected then it works fine.
