Code of Conduct

Chinese | English

We welcome people regardless of background, identity, experience, employer, language, or participation level. Be respectful, discuss ideas rather than people, give actionable feedback, respect privacy, and make space for newcomers and dissent.

Harassment, discrimination, threats, doxxing, sexualized attention, sustained disruption, retaliation, impersonation, and abuse of project or infrastructure access are unacceptable.

This applies in repositories, Discussions, meetings, events, official spaces, and when representing the community publicly.

Reporting and process

Never report conduct incidents in a public issue. Use the private conduct contact in the relevant meeting announcement or organization profile. If that person is involved, privately contact a non-conflicted organization owner and request an independent reviewer.

The process is: acknowledge; minimize data/access; assess immediate safety; use necessary reversible interim measures; identify conflicts and recuse; allow an appropriate response; issue a reasoned proportionate decision; provide review by someone other than the original decision-maker; and protect good-faith participants from retaliation.

Public transparency uses de-identified metadata only when re-identification risk is acceptable. Review case records for deletion after 90 days unless open or legally required.

Actions may include correction, warning, temporary limits, removal of controlled access, or ban. Emergency measures expire unless reviewed within 72 hours. A meeting cannot remove access it does not control.
