Having similar issue in the United States. |

You are probably not missing a local configuration step. The current Remote Connections documentation distinguishes two capabilities:
The documented wording is that availability “can vary by rollout,” so seeing the feature on mobile but not on your second desktop is consistent with staged availability; the report from a US user also makes a Portugal-only geo restriction less likely. Check these first:
If the controlling desktop still lacks Control other devices, use the mobile Remote surface for now and wait for the desktop rollout. There is no documented flag that safely forces the missing UI. Reference: https://learn.chatgpt.com/docs/remote-connections |

Well, i guess this just rollout on this latest update on windows app Version 26.903.71938 . I see the option now. Time for some testing ^_^ |

Somewhat related - but a different option in Connections is missing for me. |

Good morning!
One feature that was implemented a few months ago that i was looking forward was Remote Connections .
I’ve been using this a lot when i am away from my desktop and i can use my phone to keep track/working on some projects. However, i would also like to use this feature from my laptop; however i do not see the option “Control other Devices” anywhere on the app (app is up-to-date).
For what i understand on the documentation, this is available for Mac and windows. Is this geo-locked (i’m from Portugal)? Am i missing any configuration step?
