Remember rc1, where a brand-new panel without MQTT got stage fright halfway through setup? Fixed. Panels still clinging to MQTT now get a friendly Repair that moves them over in one click, so this is your last chance to wave MQTT goodbye 馃憢. Want in? Flip the Pre-release switch on the Panel Assistant device in HACS (under Diagnostic), then tell us what breaks. Thanks for testing! 馃檹 |

Uh oh!

This is a milestone: it's the last release that supports MQTT, and the last that can move an older MQTT panel over to Panel Assistant. If any of your panels still use MQTT, now is the time to switch. Update Panel Assistant, add the panel, then set Control to Panel Assistant on its Configure page.
Why the change? Nearly everything I want to build next needs Panel Assistant's own connection to Home Assistant, and there's a long list of it. Dropping MQTT frees the project to move a lot faster from here.
To test through HACS, turn on the Pre-release switch on the Panel Assistant device in HACS (it's under Diagnostic, disabled by default).
Feedback here or on GitHub is very welcome. Thanks for testing! 馃檹
