From 8ed726471240751cdab06e460f789579fe963d9d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: GanizaniSitara <7934938+GanizaniSitara@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Fri, 2 Oct 2026 18:51:54 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] fix(cli): suppress stdout when --benchmark is provided The --benchmark flag documentation states it will Measure only, skip output. However, the suppression logic only checked for --no-output. This commit adds --benchmark to the suppress_stdout condition to honor the documented behavior and prevent terminal flooding during benchmarks. --- crates/uffs-cli/src/commands/search/run.rs | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/crates/uffs-cli/src/commands/search/run.rs b/crates/uffs-cli/src/commands/search/run.rs index 960fd4ce4..4860a539e 100644 --- a/crates/uffs-cli/src/commands/search/run.rs +++ b/crates/uffs-cli/src/commands/search/run.rs @@ -128,7 +128,7 @@ pub(crate) fn run_search(args: &[String]) -> Result<()> { // Phase 3.1 NUL fast path: `--no-output` (explicit or auto-injected // for NUL stdout) skips every client-side stdout write. - let suppress_stdout = args_owned.iter().any(|arg| arg == "--no-output"); + let suppress_stdout = args_owned.iter().any(|arg| arg == "--no-output" || arg == "--benchmark"); if !daemon_wrote_file && !suppress_stdout { write_search_payload_to_stdout(response.payload, args)?;
