The human maintainer directs the product and remains responsible for reviewing, testing, and maintaining the resulting code. Changes are expected to follow the review and manual playback checks in [CONTRIBUTING.md](CONTRIBUTING.md). The repository's [CI workflow](.github/workflows/ci.yml) builds the application, runs its available tests, checks package metadata, and installs and smoke-tests packages on supported Ubuntu runners.
