Hi! I have a Levoit Superior 6000S, model LEH-S601S-WUS, and would like to share hardware details and initial testing results to help add or validate support in this project.
Hardware
Confirmed communication pins
Communication between the ESP32-C3 and the appliance MCU uses:
These pin assignments were identified through static analysis of the original firmware and subsequently used successfully on the actual device.
This hardware revision therefore needs different UART pins from the GPIO16/GPIO17 configuration previously suggested for SUPERIOR6000S.
Flashing
I flashed the original ESP32-C3 module using a CP2102 USB-to-UART adapter.
The PCB has a pad marked IO0, but the ESP32-C3 download-mode input is GPIO9. The programming UART pads are separate from the GPIO18/GPIO19 appliance communication interface.
I will attach photos showing the board and my flashing connections.
Firmware used for initial tests
For these tests I used the external component from:
https://github.com/alxgmpr/esphome-levoit-6000s
Revision:
9d40a42a78f5dbafee7916fddf895d4bc7709d0e
Built with:
This is a test of that component on LEH-S601S-WUS, rather than a validation of the SUPERIOR6000S implementation in tuct/levoit.
Results observed on the actual device
With the upper assembly connected but removed from the water tank:
After reassembly and normal operation with water:
These results indicate that basic communication and Auto operation work on this model.
In particular, the low-water flag being inactive while the tank was removed should not be interpreted as a successful low-water test.
Would these hardware details and test results help support this ESP32-C3 revision of the LEH-S601S-WUS? I can provide additional logs or perform specific tests if needed.

Attached are both stock application images, with all non-application flash regions omitted for privacy. These are analysis files, not a full recovery dump.
