QRCodeSVG download but no image

I'm not able to download my qr code WITH the image.
Image is also .svg file.
In Preview i can see the qr code WITH the image.
But on download it downloads only the qr code without the image.
Followed the examples (download example)

Can you confirm in the SVG src itself that it's incorrect? In my attempt, I see the <image href=... in there and loading the downloaded SVG in a web browser renders correctly.

The download code I have in the example doesn't download and embed an encoded image in the SVG downloaded. It should be possible though (somewhat awkwardly)
