Handcrafted 26.2 Unofficial Port

An unofficial NeoForge port of Handcrafted 4.0.3 for Minecraft 26.2.

Installation

1. Install NeoForge for Minecraft 26.2.

2. Put ResourcefulLib 5.0.3 or newer in the mods directory.

3. Put the public Handcrafted adaptation JAR in the mods directory.

4. Download the official Handcrafted 4.0.3 JAR for Minecraft 1.21.1 from its official distribution page. Either the Fabric or NeoForge edition can be used.

5. Put that official JAR in:

   config/handcrafted-adapted/external-assets
   

The official 1.21.1 JAR is used only as an external resource source and must not be placed in mods. The adaptation validates its mod ID and exact version before loading models, textures, sounds, and other resources from it.

Client and server must use exactly the same adaptation version.

Public and private builds

The public build contains no original Handcrafted artwork, sounds, or model files. Compatibility corrections for models are performed in memory.

The private-all-in-one build contains All Rights Reserved upstream assets. It is for private local testing only and must not be published, attached to a public release, or committed to this repository.

License

Handcrafted uses the Terrarium License v1. Files defined as Code by that license are available under its included MIT terms. Original non-code assets remain All Rights Reserved and are intentionally absent from this public repository and its Git history. See LICENSE and EXTERNAL_ASSETS.md.
