Four open upstream PRs from obra/episodic-memory, picked for our setup (Windows, Claude Code only, heavy use of subagents and skills).

Skipped on purpose: obra#187 (secret redaction, +5k lines, gets its own review), obra#182 (mostly Codex), and the Codex/OMP-only PRs.

How it was applied

• One squashed commit per PR, credited to its original author.
• Upstream dist/ changes dropped: fix(embeddings): persist model cache outside node_modules obra/episodic-memory#179 carried a 6k-line bundle diff. dist/ was rebuilt here from source in a separate commit, which changes only the 6 files these PRs touch.
• Safety-scanned before picking, and the verdict was SAFE: no hidden or bidi characters, no text aimed at an AI, no new network endpoints, no credential access. better-sqlite3 13.0.3 is the latest release from the same sole maintainer, with no install scripts.

Test plan

• npm install → better-sqlite3 13.0.3, native stack verified
• npm run build
• npm test on Windows 11, Node 24.19: 369 passed, 8 skipped, 0 failed (65 files)
• After merge: reinstall the plugin from the local marketplace so the cached plugin copy picks this up, then run one search to confirm
