…s the chain In 65bba342 a commit that overlapped three others wrote a record of 1:78052 over the first versions of 1:78057, 1:78058 and 1:78059. The chains of two of them led into it, to heads with small versions that passed the order check, and the record after them belongs to another object, so the overlap check of 1ac441d did not see them either. The check named their descriptions as missing and offered the cut behind them, which kept them in the chain. A record is written after the descriptions it refers to, so a previous version that refers to one the meta segment does not have is what is left of a record written over. It now ends the chain, and the cut is offered at the last record that is one. The current version is checked as before. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
