PlaceholderPlayerPresencepublishes immutable UUID-to-player snapshots through an atomic reference. Startup and reload replace the snapshot from the Bukkit-owned online-player collection, join marks a player online before dependent placeholder work, quit marks the UUID offline before cache cleanup, and unload clears all state. Entity-owned work rechecks its captured player instance and reschedules against the replacement owner after reconnect.Offline cache publication uses the same presence lifecycle boundary, preventing a late worker write from repopulating an online-only cache after a concurrent join.
Bukkit/Folia boundary
The shared listener no longer calls
user.isOnline(),Bukkit.getPlayer*, player metadata, or permission APIs on the storage worker. Permission-aware site-count placeholders are routed to the player owner while online. Their offline fallback matches the priorhasPermission(permission, false)semantics by excluding permission-gated sites without querying Bukkit.No worker-to-platform synchronous wait or scheduler bridge was introduced.
