Summary

Word boxes (PR #79 by @ottosch)

Dependabot (development tools only)

A scoped npm update shell-quote brace-expansion. Only these two lockfile entries change, and neither package is in index.html.

Package From To Alert
shell-quote (via browserify) 1.10.0 1.12.0 #36, critical, GHSA-pqg4-j6r4-53mv
brace-expansion 1.1.18 1.1.21 #34, medium, GHSA-q2hr-2g5m-vwhr

Testing

  • npm run release:check passes: tests, build, and a dist that matches the source.
  • Built dist at 393px: the Enter words and Last Word boxes both have 39.2px left padding with the number at 8.4px, the same as 2.4.1. Other number and text inputs keep the dark style. No console errors.

No release needed: 2.4.1 already fixes the visible bug, and the dependency changes don't touch the shipped file. This goes out with the next release.

Exclude the word boxes from the generic dark input rule, so its padding no longer overrides theirs.

PR #79 stops the generic dark input rule applying to word boxes, which
fixes the overlap at its source, so the padding override added in #84
is no longer needed.

Scoped update of two development packages flagged by Dependabot. Neither
is in index.html:
- shell-quote 1.10.0 to 1.12.0 (GHSA-pqg4-j6r4-53mv, critical), via browserify
- brace-expansion 1.1.18 to 1.1.21 (GHSA-q2hr-2g5m-vwhr, medium)
