What changed, and why

Almost nobody says "timbre" right the first time, and a name you are unsure how to say is a name you do not say. Hugo asked for the pronunciation in the logo; four settings went on the Brand room, and he picked the tight one by looking the same day.

  • Wordmark.svelte draws the lockup once: the bare bars (GDR-0021), the word, and /tam·br/ in the label mono (GDR-0017's mono for labels), on the word's baseline at half its size, muted, pinned to one line. It is aria-hidden: screen readers already say the word correctly and would read the slashes aloud. say={false} leaves it out where a lockup already carries a second line.
  • The site header, footer and the login card use it. The Backstage sidebar keeps its own lockup, which already has "backstage" beneath the word. The share image keeps the secondary wordmark.
  • The Brand room's new "Said aloud" section keeps all four settings (beside spaced, beside tight, beside bare, beneath), the tight one marked in use, so the next question starts from the comparison.
  • GDR-0025 records it, amending GDR-0021 point 1: the primary lockup has three parts; how the respelling is set; where it is left out; the spelling "tam·br". Index row and regenerated records.json included.

How it was verified

  • pnpm run check — 0 errors, 0 warnings; pnpm run build passes; sync:docs regenerated 37 records and the new one carries its amends and builds-on links.
  • Ran the dev server and looked: header and footer both render bars, "timbre", "/tam·br/". Measured: the word is 24 px, the respelling 12 px on one line, its box bottom just above the word's, consistent with baseline alignment; the lockup is 172 px wide. At the 375 px phone width the nav does not overflow (it wrapped into three lines when squeezed before whitespace-nowrap, which is why that class is there).
  • The Brand room section renders all four candidates and both header-size strips with no console errors.
  • swift test / swift-format — N/A, web and docs only.

Checks

  • Decision record — GDR-0025, in this PR.
  • Polisher touched? No.
  • Fixing a bug about reuse? No.
  • New @unchecked Sendable? No.
  • No secrets, credentials, or signing identities added to the repo.

Hugo asked for the pronunciation in the logo, so the name is said right the
first time. Wordmark.svelte now draws the lockup once — the bare bars, the
word, and the respelling in the label mono on the word's baseline at half
its size, muted, hidden from screen readers — and the header, footer and
login card use it. The Brand room gets a "Said aloud" section with four
settings of the same respelling, the one on the site marked in use, so the
placement is chosen by looking.

…rd part

Hugo chose the second setting in the Brand room: the respelling beside the
word, in the mono, without spaces inside the slashes. The site switches to
it and the Brand room marks it in use. GDR-0025 amends GDR-0021: the
primary lockup is the bars, the word and /tam·br/, on one line; the
respelling is in the label mono on the word's baseline at half its size,
hidden from screen readers, and left out where a lockup already carries a
second line.
