Summary

The v1.1.0 release run failed at upload (run):

Checking dist/cognichem_client-1.1.0-py3-none-any.whl: ERROR InvalidDistribution: Invalid distribution metadata: '2.5' is not a valid metadata version

Current hatchling writes Metadata-Version: 2.5; the Twine bundled in pypa/gh-action-pypi-publish@v1.14.0 does not accept it. v1.14.2 updates to Twine 7, which does. Same fix as #2 (which handled 2.4).

Nothing was uploaded, so 1.1.0 is still free on PyPI.

Test plan

  • Built wheel locally and confirmed Metadata-Version: 2.5
  • Re-release v1.1.0 after merge and confirm the upload succeeds

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

hatchling now writes Metadata-Version 2.5, which the twine bundled in
gh-action-pypi-publish v1.14.0 rejects (InvalidDistribution). v1.14.2
ships Twine 7, which accepts 2.5.
