⚠️ Interface changes

Python 3.10 reaches end of life in October 2026, so the package now requires Python 3.11 or newer. The classifiers list Python 3.11 to 3.13, because excluded-python-versions now also excludes Python 3.15 until TensorFlow supports it.

Python 3.10 classifier and test-py310 task removed

🖱️ Developer experience

  • Updated ComPWA/policy from 0.9.7 to 0.10.0. The style and upgrade tasks now run prek instead of pre-commit.
  • CONTRIBUTING.md describes how to install the hooks with prek instead of pre-commit.
  • Upgraded the GitHub Actions. The ComPWA/actions workflows are pinned to v4.1.3, which runs on Python 3.14 by default.

🔨 Maintenance

  • Upgraded the lock files and the pre-commit hooks.
  • The link check skips Zenodo DOIs and badges, because zenodo.org responds with 403 Forbidden in CI.
  • Removed a redundant cast from the unbinned NLL benchmark.

📝 Documentation

  • The Visual Studio Code badge links to github.dev instead of open.vscode.dev.
