Thanks for reply and since probably I am the only luddite with a device inherited from way back when this Windows was faster as 32on64 than 64on64 am unsure how many others might benefit.
I am increasingly having to compile newer apps that no longer expect to be run in 32bit OS but without a 32bit.SLN that's increasingly problematic.
I may have to use the slower 64bit devices!

You're definitely not the ONLY weird legacy tech lover in the room, not as long as I'm here. I have a working Toshiba laptop that runs MSDOS and Volkov Commander. For that stack, I can already tell you Scriptonit will never work, but back then we didn't need it :)

The reason why I won't dive into 32 bit Sci1 compilations is because I need to work on Sci2, which is around the corner, and based on a Chromium engine, as in, finally able to run things like everyone's favourite frameworks. Again, not mine. But I understand they need it. And yes I'm happy to use a Sci2-based app already, which is a sound recognition tool and works like a charm. So that's the way we're going.

But if you REALLY REALLY NEED a Sci1 and you have the guts to compile it, I can give you the C# source.
The new one is written in Lazarus, and I'm not going back into C# for a while, that's another promise.
