Add Basic Editor Options: Line Numbers, Word Wrap, and Font Size Controls #198
Enhance the Monaco Editor with basic configuration options that are commonly expected in code editors. Currently, the editor only has minimap: { enabled: false } configured, but users would benefit from having control over line numbers, word wrap, and font size.
Proposed Enhancement:
Add a new "Editor Settings" section in the sidebar with toggle controls for:
Line Numbers - Show/hide line numbers
Word Wrap - Enable/disable word wrapping for long lines
Font Size - Adjustable font size (12px to 20px range)
Files to Modify:
src/pages/EditorComponent.js
Add state variables for editor options
Add UI controls in the sidebar
Update Monaco Editor options configuration
Add handlers for option changes
src/components/css/EditorComponent.css
Add styles for the new editor settings section
Ensure responsive design
Benefits of Enhancement
Improved Accessibility - Larger fonts for users with vision difficulties
Better UX - Customizable editor appearance
Professional Feel - Standard editor features users expect
No Breaking Changes - Maintains all existing functionality
