Nice package! I was wondering if there are plural versions of TK.Label.subject and TK.Label.section.
Also, while I’m at it, how are the translations validated? (As in, how can I be sure they’re accurate?)
From my manual reviewing (of Simplified Chinese at least) these translations are machine translation / LLM-generated. Pretty good overall but is clearly not native to native speakers.
@The-Wolfson The localizations were initially LLM-generated using my app TranslateKit, proofread by LLM (via TranslateKit), then enhanced with official Apple translations for things like "Done" (via lookup table built-in to TranslateKit) and then manually checked for some languages by me personally and by the community (so far mainly @laosb for Chinese). I would appreciate corrections in other languages if you find any, that's the community aspect of this tool!
Same for plurals, if you need them and think they might be useful, feel free to ad support.
Quick update for 2.0: #15 adds the plural labels you asked for – TK.Label.subjects in Education and TK.Label.sections in Music and in Magazines & Newspapers. On validation: since my earlier answer, all strings were checked again against Apple's official system translations (iOS 27) and now follow the form of address Apple uses in each language, and tests make sure every key is translated into every language. Native-speaker corrections remain very welcome!
