Current Behavior
I created a completely new FlutterFlow project and connected it to a newly created Firebase project following the official FlutterFlow Firebase setup guide.
All required permissions and configuration steps described in the documentation were completed successfully.
After that, I created a test Firestore collection called Users. However, the Mock Backend for Firebase feature shown in FlutterFlow's official video is not available anywhere in the project UI.
I also checked whether this feature might be restricted to a specific paid FlutterFlow plan.
However, I could not find any information indicating that Mock Backend is limited to a particular subscription tier.
The entire setup and the missing functionality are demonstrated in the video attached below.
Expected Behavior
After connecting Firebase and creating a Firestore collection, I expect the Mock Backend functionality to become available as demonstrated in FlutterFlow's official video about the feature.
I should be able to create mock documents for my Firebase collections and use them while testing the application without interacting with the real Firebase backend.
If this feature is restricted to specific FlutterFlow subscription plans, this limitation should be clearly documented in the pricing page or relevant documentation.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a completely new FlutterFlow project.
- Create a new Firebase project.
- Connect the Firebase project to FlutterFlow by following the official setup guide
- Configure all required Firebase permissions and access according to the documentation.
- Create a Firestore collection named Users in FlutterFlow.
- Open the Firebase/Firestore configuration and look for the Mock Backend functionality demonstrated in FlutterFlow's official feature video.
- Observe that the Mock Backend option is not available anywhere in the UI.
