Overview - feature-suite 0.2

The feature-suite provides tools in the context of automatic image matching. The suite is separated into small softwares that solve a specific part of the problem. It is designed so in order to perform research using each software as a brick of the overall solver.

Presentation

The presentation of the feature-suite is made through the small softwares it provides. Each software is presented through a dedicated page that gives an overview of the task it solve, the details of parameters and a small demonstration of its results. Development

The feature-suite current release is 0.2 (v0.2). The master branch contains the current beta version. Read the development logs for more information and documentation about the current state of the master branch.

Dependencies

The feature-suite comes with the following package (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS) dependencies :

• libgtk2.0-dev

the following external dependencies :

• OpenCV 2.4.9 <OpenCV repository>

Documentation is built using doxygen.

Compilation

To clone the repository, use the command :

$ git clone https://github.com/FoxelSA/feature-suite.git
$ cd feature-suite
$ git checkout v0.2

To build sub-modules and binaries with make, use the command :

$ make clean-all && make [OPENMP=false]

To rebuild the binaries without rebuilding sub-modules :

$ make clean && make build [OPENMP=false]

To rebuild sub-modules only, use the command :

$ make clean-modules && make modules [OPENMP=false]

To generate the documentation, use the command :

$ make clean-documentation && make documentation

To install or uninstall the binaries on the local computer, use the commands :

# make install
# make uninstall
