When the deployment target is iOS 17+, SwiftUI mirrors shape paths in RTL by default, which flipped shapes that already handle RTL a second time.

Set the DemoAppSwiftUI deployment target to iOS 17
Run the DemoAppSwiftUI-RTL scheme and open a channel with messages from you and other members
Check that the last bubble of each message group has its square corner on the screen edge side (next to the avatar for incoming messages)
Open a channel with a thread reply and check that the connector curves from the bubble towards the replies row
Repeat with the default iOS 15 deployment target and check that nothing changed
