The starting metadata uses the standard library "an author is just a standardized string" form of author identification, but it would be useful if we could do better.
We should:
- clean and dedupe the author strings (there are bunch that appear multiple times in different forms)
- reconcile the names to one or more sources of strong identifiers such as Wikidata, VIAF, or OpenLibrary
