Protocol membership raises AttributeError on a terminal AH layer #2484

Closed

Description

@JarryShaw

On origin/main (4ca3f30d7), 'ESP' in <parsed AH layer> raises AttributeError: 'AH' object has no attribute '_next'.

Found while checking the #2478 selector claims (IPv6_Ext selects AH and ESP through IPsec). The in path on an AH layer reads _next, which AH does not set when it is the last layer.

Next step: reproduce with a hand-built Ethernet/IPv6/AH frame; find where _next is read in Protocol.__contains__; fix so membership on a terminal AH layer returns False rather than raising, with a test that fails before the fix.
