IDX Editor

A lightweight desktop code editor by JJDev Studio, built with Electron + Monaco Editor + xterm.js.

• Multi-platform: Runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux

• Large File Support: Files larger than 2 MB open in streaming/range mode without blocking RAM

Installation

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/Juanoto2012/IDX.git
cd IDX

# Install dependencies
npm install

Development

# Start the application
npm start

Build

# Build for your platform
npm run dist

The built application will be available in the dist/ directory.

Usage

• Ctrl+O: Open folder
• Ctrl+S: Save current file
• Shift+Alt+F: Format code
• Ctrl+J: Toggle terminal
• Ctrl+Z: Undo / Ctrl+Y: Redo
• Ctrl+F: Find
