The shipped Electron runtime and development/build dependency tree retain known security advisories after the renderer updates. Electron is distributed with the application despite its devDependency classification.
Update Electron 44.4.3 to the first safe 44.x patch, 44.9.1, and Vite 8.0.13 to 8.1.6. Apply compatible transitive security patches within their existing major versions. Add narrowly scoped release-age exceptions for the exact Electron and fast-uri security fixes; keep the general seven-day policy.
Validation: frozen install, typecheck, 3 file-boundary tests, production build, and the complete desktop smoke test with Electron 44.9.1 passed. The complete dependency audit, including dev and optional dependencies, now reports zero advisories (21 advisory entries before this maintenance sequence). Windows portable/installer packaging is also checked in CI.
