**Selecting a model card feels laggy.**
Large browse results with many previews can make selection feel slow. Narrowing your search or letting the current page finish loading generally helps.

## Model Downloads in Packages

**InvokeAI fails to download from HuggingFace with an `UnsafeDownloadURLException` while a fake-IP DNS proxy is active.**
InvokeAI's downloader resolves the host and refuses addresses outside the public range. A fake-IP DNS proxy (Clash Verge / mihomo TUN, Surge, and similar tools) resolves `huggingface.co` into its fake-IP range, usually `198.18.0.0/15`, so InvokeAI rejects the download even though the proxy would route it correctly. The console shows a message like:

```text
UnsafeDownloadURLException: Refusing to download from 'huggingface.co': it resolves to a non-public address.
Set `allow_private_download_urls` in invokeai.yaml to permit downloads from loopback and private-network addresses.
```

There are two workarounds:

1. **Keep InvokeAI's SSRF protection** and let the proxy resolve HuggingFace normally. Add these domains to the proxy's fake-IP filter and reload the proxy profile:

```yaml
fake-ip-filter:
- huggingface.co
- +.huggingface.co
- +.hf.co
```

2. **Allow private addresses for InvokeAI.** Add this to the package's `invokeai-root/invokeai.yaml` and restart the package:

```yaml
allow_private_download_urls: true
```

This also lets the downloader reach loopback and private-network URLs, so enable it only when you trust the download sources.

This affects downloads made by InvokeAI itself, not the Stability Matrix Model Browser.

## Inference Connection and Workflow Errors

**A generation is rejected with a 400 error such as a node not found.**
