Small CI hygiene follow-up, split out of the PR #3 discussion.

CI on PR #3 reported a deprecation annotation:

Node.js 20 is deprecated. The following actions target Node.js 20 but are being forced to run on Node.js 24: actions/checkout@v4, actions/setup-python@v5.

Change

  • actions/checkout v4 → v5 (Node 24 runtime; minimum runner v2.327.1, satisfied by windows-latest)
  • actions/setup-python v5 → v6 (Node 24 runtime)
  • dtolnay/rust-toolchain@stable is a Docker/composite action, not a Node action — no change needed.

No workflow logic, inputs, or steps were modified — only the two version pins. Workflow YAML validated with a parser.

Verification

CI on this PR is the verification: the run should complete with no Node 20 deprecation annotation while fmt/clippy/test stay green.

checkout v4 and setup-python v5 run on the deprecated Node 20 runtime
and produce a deprecation annotation on every CI run. Move them to the
Node 24 majors (checkout v5, setup-python v6). dtolnay/rust-toolchain
is not a Node action and needs no change.
