Summary of Changes

Enterprise-grade UI/UX overhaul for Second Opinion's web application:

  • Hero & Landing Experience: Added a high-conversion SaaS hero section with animated ambient gradient orbs, quick-start action pills, architectural 3-pillar breakdown, 5-stage payment hold lifecycle timeline, and performance statistics.
  • Theme Engine: Added full class-based dark/light theme switching with instant localStorage persistence, smooth transitions, and glassmorphism styling.
  • Brand Identity: Replaced temporary elements with a custom SVG gradient shield logo, updated typography (Inter 400-900), and integrated modern status pills.
  • Interactive Caregiver Profile Customization: Added full customization of caregiver profile credentials, color palettes, preferred alert dispatch channels (push, SMS, email), urgency thresholds, quiet-hour overrides, and instant toast confirmations.
  • Component & Style System: Overhauled tokens.css and app.css with WCAG AA compliant contrast ratios, micro-animations, refined card elevations, and clean tabular data views.

Verification

  • npm run typecheck passed cleanly with 0 TypeScript errors.
  • npm test passed 297/297 unit, engine, and React component tests.
  • All non-negotiable boundaries respected (pure packages, zero IO/Date in pure engines, fail-closed security logic intact).
