The Android checkout had no repeatable build gate, an outdated wrapper/toolchain, obsolete Firebase KTX imports, and lint errors that prevented validation. This P1 foundation pins AGP 9.3.3, Gradle 9.5.0 (checksummed wrapper), Kotlin 2.4.21, JDK 21, compile SDK 37, target SDK 36, and min SDK 27, and adds a pinned GitHub Actions build/test/lint workflow.

Debug builds use a separate .debug application ID and demo Firebase configuration. The release application ID/configuration and all Firebase data, rules, and storage remain unchanged. iOS remains deferred. Compose screens and the historical timer/auth/data fixes remain in their later stages.

Focused repairs remove a nonexistent manifest activity, migrate two Firebase imports, update the GIF library for 16 KB alignment, and use the AndroidX Back dispatcher for the drawer, including restored state.

Validation:

• Clean local metadata check, debug APK assembly, instrumentation APK assembly, unit tests, and lint passed (92 executed tasks).
• Eight JVM tests passed: five duration fixtures and three real drawer/Back dispatcher cases on Robolectric API 36. The restored-drawer regression failed before its fix and passed afterward.
• Lint: zero errors, 194 visible legacy warnings, no Aligned16KB findings; no blanket baseline or disabled error gate.
• Actionlint and git diff whitespace checks passed. Both wrapper checksums match Gradle's published values.
• Generated APK metadata/resources confirm the demo debug identity/project. No Firebase operations were executed during validation.
• Instrumentation tests were compiled, not run on an emulator/device. Target-SDK device behavior and release readiness remain later acceptance work.

The hosted GitHub Actions check passed on commit 590b5b07263c3c5652c4228b6cbe7d4309bc5121. Reports and the debug APK were uploaded by CI. Build prerequisites and exact commands are in docs/development.md. No merge or deployment was performed.
