EDMC-ServerStatus

A small EDMarketConnector plugin that periodically checks Frontier's Live CAPI and shows a simple server-health status in the EDMC main window.

• MAINTENANCE, DEGRADED, UNREACHABLE, and UNKNOWN are shown in red
• CHECKING... remains neutral

Status mapping

• HTTP 2xx -> ONLINE
• HTTP 401 / 403 -> ONLINE
• HTTP 418 -> MAINTENANCE
• HTTP 5xx -> DEGRADED
• Connection / timeout failure -> UNREACHABLE
• Other HTTP status -> UNKNOWN

Poll interval

Default: 5 minutes

Configure under:

EDMC -> Settings -> Server Status

Minimum: 1 minute.

Important limitation

This is a Frontier Live CAPI health check, not a direct probe of every Elite Dangerous backend component.

MAINTENANCE is a strong signal because EDMC's own CAPI code explicitly treats HTTP 418 as maintenance. ONLINE means the CAPI endpoint is reachable; it does not guarantee that every game service is healthy.

Installation

Copy the EDMC_ServerStatus folder into your EDMC plugins directory and restart EDMC.
