The Low Room page uses id="night" twice, so the week list never fills the booking select.

<a href="#night">A night here</a>
<section class="night" id="night" aria-labelledby="night-title">
<label for="night">Night</label>
<select id="night" name="night" required>
document.getElementById('night'); if (s) s.value = a.dataset.night;

getElementById returns the section, the first night. Clicking Tuesday (data-night="Tuesday") sets a property on the section. The select stays on "Choose a night". The fragment link is ambiguous too.

The select and its label are now night-pick. The script looks up night-pick. The section stays id="night", so "A night here" still lands on it. name="night" is unchanged, so the posted field name stays the same.

Verified by reading the file back: one id="night", for, id and getElementById all say night-pick, and the id list has no duplicates.
