The Bloom build hint paints a clip with var(--c), and nothing in the file defines --c.

.clip { border-radius: var(--radius-clip); background: linear-gradient(color-mix(in oklab, var(--c) 18%, var(--color-sheet)), color-mix(in oklab, var(--c) 28%, var(--color-sheet))); box-shadow: inset 0 0 0 1px color-mix(in oklab, var(--c) 42%, transparent), inset 0 1px 0 var(--hi); }

The token block defines --lane-1 through --lane-4. Surfaces say the clips take those lane tones. An unset --c makes each color-mix() invalid, so the copied hint drops the clip's background and its inset line.

var(--c) is now var(--lane-1). The file was 7,991 bytes; the longer name put it at 8,006, over the 8,000 byte cap in theme.mjs validate, so six spaces came out of that one declaration.

node skills/hallmark/scripts/theme.mjs validate skills/hallmark/references/themes/bloom.md prints ok (Bloom, light/grotesk-sans/warm, 8000 bytes).

Thanks @rudycelekli, good catch: --c was undefined in Bloom's build hint. We fixed it a little differently so each lane can still set its own colour: .clip now starts with --c: var(--lane-1); as a default, and a sentence elsewhere was shortened to stay under the 8,000-byte cap. The commit (0857f9c) credits you as co-author and lands on main with the next push.
